Why Choosing Seubert’s
Quality Home Care

Our journey...

Seubert's Quality Home Care has been a locally owned and operated family business since it was founded in 1988 by Judy Seubert. In its early days the business was run out of the Seubert's spare room. Judy, a nurse and former nursing home administrator, acted as the manager, bookkeeper, and full-time caregiver. She had one employee: her daughter Karen Foley who was a senior in high school.
In just a short period of time the reputation of providing personalized and exceptional home care to clients grew the business from a mother-daughter venture to include employing over 150 caregivers, Registered Nurses and a headquarters office staff in Lewiston. A Branch office in Moscow was opened allowing Seubert's Quality Home Care to serve clients in Latah, Nez Perce, Lewis, Clearwater and Idaho counties in Idaho, and Asotin, Garfield and Whitman counties in Washington State.
In June 2003, Judy's first employee (her daughter Karen) and her husband Jason McKinley took over ownership of Seubert's Quality Home Care
The McKinley’s proudly continue over three decades of providing excellent personal care services to people of all ages throughout Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington.

The New Client Process:

We make it easy for you!

Initial Inquiry

An initial contact by you, your loved one, or personal representative is the initial inquiry. Often times this is done over the phone or in one of our offices. At this step, a Seubert's Quality Home Care representative and you will discuss your needs, our services, costs and best options to meet your needs and preferences

A representative of Seubert's Quality Home Care will meet with you in your own home to develop your individualized plan of care and complete the necessary paperwork to get services started. For your comfort, please invite any family or friends to attend the Consultation. This step in the process takes 1-2 hours.

Care Plan Development

Back at the office, we will develop the plan of care according to your needs and preferences. Your individualized plan of care serves as an important training tool your caregiver will be oriented to in order to provide the assistance you need. Typically the plan of care is developed the same day as your consultation.

Caregiver Selection

A Seubert's Quality Home Care Client Care Coordinator will select a caregiver to work with you. The Client Care Coordinator takes into account your preferences, caregiver training, personalities, and availability to make an initial caregiver selection. You may recommend a friend or family member to be your caregiver.

Begin Services

Seubert's Quality Home Care is typically able to begin services within just a few days of your initial inquiry. Once services have started we keep in touch with you to make sure that things are going well. Phone calls, home visits, Quality Assurance Activities and reports from you and your caregiver are all important tools to ensure you are receiving the best home care service available.
It is our goal to make the process of receiving services pleasant, fast, easily understood, and worry free for you and your loved ones. We provide assistance with many payment sources including your long term care insurance provider. We have been doing this since 1988 and it is our commitment to make your experience positive.
